Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Pick up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and depart for Lake Naivasha via the scenic Great Rift Valley. Stop briefly at a viewpoint for photography and panoramic views of the escarpment.
Arrive in Naivasha in time for lunch and relaxation at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy optional activities such as a boat ride on the lake where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife. You can also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp.
In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive across the vast savannah plains of the reserve. Search for wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many more species.
Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the day exploring the incredible wilderness of Maasai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.
The reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. If traveling during the migration season, you may witness the famous wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Picnic lunch may be served inside the park to maximize your safari experience.
